As a Restoration Technician, you’ll make a difference every day by responding to water and fire damage emergencies. From demolition to drying and cleanup, your work directly impacts our customers and helps them get their lives back to normal.
- Carry out restoration tasks according to work orders and crew chief instructions
- Load, organize, and maintain tools, products, and equipment for each project
- Keep vehicles, equipment, and job sites clean and orderly
- Prepare rooms/areas for restoration activities
- Work safely and efficiently while supporting your crew
- Communicate openly with your team and provide great service to customers
- Positive attitude and commitment to delivering 5-star customer service
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Ability to quickly pick up new skills and techniques
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Lift at least 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
- Work from ladders, in crawl spaces, and at ceiling heights
- Comfortable standing, walking, or performing physical tasks for long periods
- Ability to safely handle cleaning products and chemicals

The IICRC is the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, a non-profit organization for the Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Industries. The IICRC, originally named the International Institute of Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Inc. (IICUC), was founded in 1972 by Ed York. Since starting in 1972, the IICRC has evolved into a global organization with more than 49,000 active Certified Technicians and more than 6,500 Certified Firms around the world.
The IICRC is managed by its Board of Directors, which is composed of 15 industry leaders elected by the IICRC’s Shareholders. The Board of Directors’ function is to represent the various interests of the applicants while leading the direction of the organization. The Board of Directors meets four times per year and is tasked with the responsibility of helping shape future policies of the organization and uphold the standards that help shape the industry.
